Alexandra Alcala

Alex is a student at CSUB and is currently studying communications. She aspires to one day be very rich with a cat. Alex loves music and theatre and can play multiple instruments. She also loves Jamba Juice and Panda Express.

Anahi Orozco

Anahi is an CSUB intern with TYM4C, set to graduate in Spring 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. She aspires to be a counselor for elementary schools or colleges. In her free time, she enjoys reading, journaling, exploring new places, and spending time with her family.

Aryam Estrada

Aryam is a Youth Volunteer with TYM4C! She attends West High School and is involved in all types of school clubs such as ASB, Interact Club, Link Crew, AVID, etc. She thrives on staying busy and making an impact in her community. Aryam can connect with a diverse range of individuals, since she can read, speak, and write in both Spanish and English. Her passion revolves around being a creative person as it gives her the artistic freedom to explore new ideas.

Bella Alcala

Bella is a first generation student at CSUB and is a CollegeCorps member. She is majoring in child, adolescent, and family studies and eventually plans to work as a speech therapist or teacher in the future. Currently, Bella works at the Boys and Girls Club. In her free time, she likes to draw and write stories. Bella also enjoys singing, plushies, listening to music, and watching shows and movies.

Cy Escobedo

Cy is a student at West High School. He enjoys playing games with friends in his free time. He was inspired to join TYM4Change because he wants to make a difference in his community. One day Cy hopes to be accepted into UCLA. One fun fact about him is that he enjoys playing Valorant and loves games.

Dylan DueƱas Silva

Dylan is a youth volunteer at TYM4Change and sociology student at Bakersfield College. He has been with the organization since July 2022. Dylan is grateful for the mentorship and guidance he's received, which has helped him improve his pubic speaking skills and grow in confidence.

Elijah Smith

Eli is a student-athlete from Golden Valley High School. He has started his own clothing business and has also been in the ROC at CTEC program at school. Eli loves to cook and considers himself a top tier chef.

Fatima Aceves Soltero

Fatima is a student at Liberty High School and a proud Mexican American. She has a passion for engineering. Fatima is known for her enthusiasm and determination. She actively volunteers to aid those in need. Fatima loves exploring new things and is always pursuing something new. She aspires to one day pursue engineering and is driven by her innovations and determination.

Jasmine "Jas" Rubalcado

Jas is a Youth Volunteer at TYM4C! She has a passion for helping others. Jas enjoys drawing, crafting flowers, cooking, baking, and watching anime. She loves stars and butterflies and has a deep appreciation for R&B music.

Jesus Lopez

Jesus is a Youth Volunteer at TYM4C! He is a student at Arvin High School. Jesus has culinary skills and worked in labor for a while. He has plenty of knowledge when it comes to computers and website building.

Leslie Peralta

Leslie is a twin and has four sisters and one brother. She is a student at CSUB studying Sociology with a concentration in human services. Leslie aspires to be a social worker or work for the Department of Human Services. A fun fact about Leslie is that she has a cat named Oreo.

Maylene Gutierrez

MG is a volunteer at TYM4Change. She aspires to be a piercer one day. Some fun facts about MG are that she does Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu.

Montserrat Aceves Soltero

Montse is an online student at Arizona State University.. Her major is criminology and justice. She is also an accredited veterinary assistant. She loves to help not only people, but animals as well.

Rafael De La Mora

Rafael is a student at Bakersfield College. He enjoys writting and going on hikes in his freetime. Rafael joined TYM4Change in January 2023 because he enjoys giving back to his community and is working to becoming a teacher in the future.

Ricky Ruiz

Ricky is a high school student at West High School. He is involved with school in being the president of their Yearbook Club and being a part of their ASB. Ricky loves doing community service, since he wants to help the community. He enjoys running, as he used to do track and cross country.

Rudi Gutierrez

Rudi is a student at Centennial High School. She was born on Veteran's Day and enjoys reading, hopes to major in psychology during college, and loves singing. Some of her interests include true crime, baking, history, musicals, Greek mythology, and reading from the fantasy, thriller, and fiction genres.

Theodore "Theo" Walker

Victor Lara Marquez

Victor is a first generation college student studying at Bakersfield College. Victor is currently majoring in Administration of Justice. He is very passionate about making a change in his community and becoming a leader. Throughout all the struggles in his life, he has learned to make the most out of it and always be happy.
